Teacher Grant Information

PURPOSE:

The Botkins Education Foundation Teacher Grant was established to provide an opportunity for Botkins Local School teachers in Grades K-12 to apply for funds to enhance the educational experience for students.

GRANT AWARDS:

Requests can be made for any amount up to $1000. Number of grants issued will be determined by funds available.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for projects that show innovative ways to reach students or projects that exemplify a desire to implement a new teaching method.

Grant requests must be received by the Botkins Education Foundation and be approved by Botkins Local School administration.

Any supplies, equipment, etc. obtained through this grant opportunity will become the property of the Botkins Local School. Grant money is not to be used for general operating expenses of existing organizations, religious or political organizations or committees, or for programs or equipment already provided by existing funds. It is not to be used for meals, lodging, travel expenses, awards, or attendance stipends.

REQUIREMENT FOR GRANT RECIPIENTS:

Applicants must follow the school’s purchasing process. Receipts for purchases must be provided to the Treasurer at the school office and to the BEF Board. After completion of the project and/or program, please provide a description of how funds were used to the address below within 30 days of project completion. Any unused funds will be forfeited.
